You know everything. You are the first one in the classroom every day. You see around corners and through walls. You are my supernatural Partner in this classroom today. Help me to remember that when the crazy, unexpected things that always happen – happen again today. Father, please remind me to say “Help” and then to expect you to be there for me.
You, more than anyone else, understand the challenges I face every single day. You also know the challenges of every student in my classroom. You love them and care about them – even when they are being impossible!
I can’t do this without you, Father. So, I’m claiming Philippians 4:13 right now. I CAN do all things through Christ who strengthens me. This is where the supernatural part comes in, Lord, because from my viewpoint, it is going to take a miracle or two to get me through this day!
Finally, I am going to take Peter’s advice and I am going to cast (throw) all my cares over on you BECAUSE You care about me. (1 Pet. 5:7). That means I am going into this classroom and do my best and I am going to count on You to have my back and do the heavy lifting.
Jesus said in John 15:23-24 that whatever I ask in His Name you would do it so that my joy will be full. So this is my prayer in Jesus name.
